2025 was truly an exceptional year for the plant-based category. The market saw a wave of innovations, and consumers welcomed them with great enthusiasm. We’re excited to recap the standout launches – products that impressed with their taste, functionality, and bold approach to plant-based food. Here are our TOP 10 (or actually… a bit more 😉) that made the biggest impact in 2025!
Magda plant-based – Planton Greek vegangurt: A revolutionary Greek-style vegangurt packed with 96 billion bifido+ cultures! Made from fava bean protein, shea oil, pea protein, and coconut extract. Available at Lidl Polska and the Magda plant-based online store – and highly praised by consumers who care about healthy habits.
Planteris_com (Apollo) – beet-based pastrami: Beet pastrami – aromatic, spicy, distinctive. Each slice was described as an “explosion of spices,” and the product received glowing reviews from fans of plant-based meat alternatives.
HappyVore – the first plant-based ham: A debut that collected praise for its taste, nutritional value, and sustainable approach. It hit Carrefour shelves and immediately won over shoppers. Congratulations to Guillaume Dubois!
Plenish – clean-label oat milk: Oat milk enriched with essential micronutrients – a clean label, excellent formulation, and Tesco listing helped it quickly gain popularity.
Billie Green – improved vegan salami and chorizo slices: A new recipe -> more flavour, better texture, and even more addictiveness. Consumers confirmed: the upgrade was absolutely worth it!
Heura Foods & SWAP Food – Suprême fillet: A true game changer available in 2,000 stores across Europe. Only seven ingredients, excellent structure, and highly positive reviews right from the launch.
Truffle Plant-Based Cold Cut (Bezmięsna Truflowa) by Plenty Reasons (Bezmięsny): Igor Sadurski and Rafał Czech embraced the bold aroma of truffle – and they nailed it. With 25 g of protein per 100 g, a short ingredients list, and a deep flavour profile, the product quickly gained fans at Auchan Polska.
Dreamfarm – plant-based stracciatella + mini mozzarella: Stracciatella launched at Albert Heijn and almond-based mini mozzarella showcased at Tuttofood 2025 – both widely praised for flavour and originality.
NOVAMEAT – Pulled Lamb & Pulled Pork Style: Two fibrous products created using micro-extrusion technology. They were enthusiastically received by industry professionals and the foodservice sector.
WAAY (Plantway’s younger sibling) – protein shakes: A strong Polish highlight! Protein shakes with 20 g of protein, 5 g of fibre, low sugar, and no refrigeration needed. They won the hearts of consumers looking for convenient, functional solutions. Flavours: Chocolate-Hazelnut and Coffee-Caramel.
THIS & Omami – chickpea tofu: The first UK tofu made with over 70% chickpeas – highly rated for its flavour and innovative approach to a classic product.
Neggst Foods – plant-based scrambled egg: Presented at Anuga 2025, this plant-based scrambled egg surprised even sceptics with its flavour and texture. A major step forward for egg alternatives.
