May brought another strong wave of plant-based innovation across Europe – from drinkable plant-based yogurts and vegan salami to tofu bites, upgraded meat alternatives, protein snacks, vegan sweets and summer-ready ice cream.

🌱 LEKKA – is preparing to launch LEKKA Salami Classico and LEKKA Salami al Pepe. 100% plant-based, salami-style and available at REWE from 1 June.
🌱 Garden Gourmet – introduced breaded tofu cubes with basil. Soft inside, crispy outside and ready for pan-frying, baking or air frying – a simple way to upgrade summer salads and quick meals.

🌱 Greenforce – upgraded its plant-based Leberkäse with pea and fava bean protein, improved taste, juicier texture and higher protein content. The new recipe is also free from methylcellulose, carrageenan and konjac.
🌱 ALDI – under the ALDI Sports brand, introduced two vegan protein products on the Polish market: Vegan Protein Deluxe Hazelnut-Nougat and Vegan Protein Deluxe Ice Tea Peach.
🌱 Billie Green – announced new Billie Green Snack Balls. 100% vegan, high in protein, spicy, juicy and made without additives – designed for snacking on the go or after exercise.

🌱 VALSOIA – introduced two new 100% vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free ice cream products: a tiramisu-inspired creamy ice cream and a cornetto-style cone with salted caramel, caramelised almonds and cashew-based vanilla ice cream.
🌱 HARIBO – veganised its Wilde Erdbeeren. Gelatine has been removed and replaced with plant-based alternatives. The new version should appear in retail with a vegan label on the packaging.

🌱 OATLY – appeared in Carrefour Poland with Oatly Matcha Strawberry in a 250 ml ready-to-drink format.
🌱 BILLA – continues to grow its vegan sweet snack offer with Choco-Mio, a vegan Bueno-style bar, and vegan Nut Butter Cups filled with peanut butter.
