Shelled hemp seeds is obtained by mechanically crushing raw hemp seeds, which are separated by air, at a processing temperature of 15 – 20°C.
Use for direct consumption or further processing. Shelled hemp seeds are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, with an ideal ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 (3:1). They have a high content of complete protein, containing all essential amino acids. They are rich in vitamin E and minerals (potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper and manganese).
